Personal Spirits

As I've seen and read the ancient  Hellenes believed in many spirits existed in the world. The nympth controlled Trees,nature,mountains, Satyrs chased them wildly in order to keep nature moving and flowing. Ancestor spirits guided the households and were contacted for advice. Some of the most Important spirits where the Daemonia. These spirits where personal spirits of the household,family, and behavior. 

Well on to my own tidbit on this. I have never ever made a ritual recognizing my Daemon for protecting my house. I always feel him around,..my House Daemon has a strong male characteristic about it. So I am planning a time when I can say "hello" Sometime in the future maybe he'll be a little more clam. Any Suggestions would be welcome.

Hellenic Issues

I have always struggled with my own Gods and the practices that included there. I have always been sort of a group leader, priest, wizard for my friends. They are all different pagans one is Eclectic/wiccinish and the other is Asatru.I was also the one that introduced them to their paths. It's just I am always feeling like if mix in my beliefs and practices with more "universal" paganism I sometimes feel guilty. I've always known how to make my own rituals...i just feel sometimes that I ignore my practices over others. This is my own fault putting my friends before myself. Feeling that they would be disintrested in a hellenic/greek ritual. I feel that I am with out answers at the current moment. Begin a Hellenist, Pagan,Wiccan, Etc is hard. Perhap being an Adult with any sort of spiritual practice is hard. I am sure there is a Wiccan Priestess out there who wishes she could do the rituals her way instead of the Coven's way.

Its a concept many pagan's struggle with I think.
Doing and Wanting
We want to believe and pratice what we wish.
Then in doing we do what we feel is best for outside.
Its such a strange thing that I compermise my beliefs for others. It's also hard to be strong when you have only so much understanding of your faith system.

I think one of my biggest mistakes is that I haven't read all my books on spiritual/paganism/religion. I have finished many books but I got half way through one of these books,lets see the list shall we?

As one can see I haven't been reading all the books I could be reading. The worse part is that the only Hellenic literature I have is the Iliad and the Odyssey. Though most of the information I learn about Hellenic Paganism has been on the Internet It would be good to have a tangible book once in awhile? I think a good trip to the libary is in dire need,If you have any suggestions on the books I should get just shoot me an email.

An Introduction

I am Making this blog in order to expresses my Religious opinions beyond that of YT. Being a polytheist on Youtube is cool but I would like to express my self beyond that of a Vlog Now I have a blog. I will post my videos conserning my subjects on topic to my blog.
As An introduction I am Hellenist Living in Suburb of L.A. County. I love to Cook,read, research and Create. I am with a wonderful woman about to leave the house and get a job and be on my own.
